It’s amazing how a little bit of singing and some comedy can get a serious message across.
Bokola recently enjoyed the performances of the Salima District hospital hygiene promotion performers so much that by the end of the day men, women and children were on their feet singing the same songs, creating their own poems and showing us their own drama routines!

Getting the communities involved in the action is key to changing long-standing behaviours and the progress we’re seeing in Bokola already is testament to the innovative methods being used, like drama, song and dance, of creating engagement and understanding.
